Heat the oven to 375°F. Coat an 11x7 baking dish with cooking spray and put aside.
Crumble and brown ground beef, Italian sausage and onions in a dutch oven or large saucepot over medium-high heat.
Break up the meat and cook for 10 minutes until no pink remains and the onions are transparent. Drain the pot of grease.
1/2 pound lean ground beef, 1/2 pound Italian sausage Stir marinara sauce into meat mixture.
24-ounce canned marinara Tortellini should be added and cooked for 3 minutes, stirring regularly, to warm up.
20-ounce refrigerated cheese tortellini Mix in half the mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
3 cups shredded mozzarella, 2 teaspoons grated parmesan Put the mixture in the baking dish. Top with remaining cheeses.
Place nonstick foil or cooking spray-side down foil on top of dish. After 20 minutes, uncover and bake for 15 more minutes until hot and bubbling.
Optional parsley garnish and serve immediately. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley
