INGREDIENTS
– 4 cups old-fashioned rolled oat– 1 cup chopped nuts, I like doing ½ cup almond or pecans and ½ cup walnut– ½ – ¾ tsp cinnamon, depending on your taste preference– ½ tsp salt– ½ cup pure maple syrup– ½ cup coconut oil, melted– 2 tsp vanilla extract
INSTRUCTIONS
Warm the oven up to 175°F (350°F). Put parchment paper on the bottom of a baking sheet. Put the nuts, cinnamon, salt, and oats in a big bowl and mix them together.
Step 1
Melt the coconut oil and add it along with the vanilla extract. Mix the nuts and oats well so that each one is lightly covered.
Step 2
Once everything is well mixed, press the mixture onto the parchment paper that has been lined and spread it out into a flat layer.
Step 3
Put it in the oven and stir it every 20 to 24 minutes. As it cools, the granola will get even crispier.
Step 4
It should be fully cool for at least 45 minutes before you break it up. Keep the granola on the counter for one to two weeks in a jar that won't let air in. Have fun!
