Two types of chocolate and cocoa make these delectable homemade delights worth the calories, but if you're short on time, a packaged brownie mix will do.
– 3/4tsp. salt– 6 large egg– 1c. granulated sugar– 1c. packed brown sugar– 2tsp. vanilla extract– Vanilla frosting, for decorating

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a pan that measures 13 inches by 9 inches and line it with foil.

While stirring, melt the butter and chocolates in a saucepan with a capacity of three quarts. Take away from the heat.

Whisk flour, cocoa, and salt. Blend eggs in large bowl with electric mixer on high speed. Add sugars gradually and beat for 10 minutes to treble volume.

Mix chocolate and vanilla, then flour. Pour into pan. Bake 28–32 minutes until toothpick inserted near centre comes out almost clean.

After cooling, cut brownies into hearts by hand or with a cookie cutter. Tip: Crumble trimmings in a sundae to avoid waste!
