Pepperoni Bread made with frozen bread dough is simple and enjoyable to make. Make pizza night entertaining by serving it as an appetiser or entree with a big salad.
INGREDIENTS
– 1 1- pound loaf frozen bread dough thawed according to package directions (I used and like Rhodes brand)– 3 ½ tablespoons salted butter melted– 1 ½ teaspoons pizza seasoning– ¼ teaspoon garlic powder– 4 ounces sliced pepperoni– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese– 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°F. Parchment a baking sheet. Set aside. Roll and stretch the thawed dough into a 12 × 10-inch rectangle on a lightly floured board.
Step 1
Relax with the dimensions—as long as it's close, you're good. Melted butter, pizza spice, and garlic powder should be mixed.
Step 2
Brush half the melted butter mixture on the rolled dough using a pastry brush. Next, spread mozzarella cheese over the dough and pepperoni evenly.
Step 3
Roll dough jelly-roll-style from a long side. Pinch the ends and set the loaf seam-side down on the baking sheet. Cut three little vents in the loaf top using a sharp knife.
Step 4
Brush remaining butter mixture and add parmesan. Pre-heat oven and bake 20–25 minutes till golden brown.
Step 5
Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing with a serrated knife. With pizza or marinara sauce.
