Sweet and Salty Teddy Bear Snicker doodles Recipe 

Soft, cute, and engaging.Teddy Bear Snickerdoodle salty-sweet Cinnamon-sugar-rolled oatmeal cookies with white and milk chocolate. The dough forms spherical balls for these cute, chubby Teddy Bear cookies. Fill with salty pretzels and bake till perfect. No one can resist these beautiful teddy bear biscuits. The bites have pretzel texture and are somewhat crisp on the outside and mushy in the middle. 

Ingredient

– 2 sticks (1 cup) salted butter, at room temperature – 3/4 cup dark brown sugar – 1/4 cup granulated sugar – 2 large eggs, at room temperature – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract – 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour – 1/2 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional) – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt – 2 cups old fashioned oats – 1/3 cup cinnamon sugar (optional) – 3 ounces semi-sweet chocolate or milk chocolate melted – 6 ounces white chocolate, melted – 1 cup mini pretzel twists

Start with a 350-degree oven. Parchment a baking sheet. Mix butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl.

Beat eggs one at a time until mixed. Beat in vanilla until creamy. Put flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in. Mix in the oats until incorporated.

Roll half the dough into 24 (1 tablespoon) balls for full-size teddy bears. Head and stomach. Form 72 1/2-inch dough balls. Above photographs show the feet, limbs, and ears.

I find it simplest to make all the parts before assembling. Coat all balls with cinnamon sugar if desired. Place two 1 tablespoon balls side by side on the baking sheet and gently flatten to 1/2 inch thick.

Connect 6 1/2-inch balls for arms, legs, and ears. Repeat with the remaining dough, spacing the bears 2 inches apart on the baking sheet. Top the ears with pretzels (see photographs for guidance).

Put the teddy bears in the oven for 8 minutes. Flatten the baking sheet by tapping it twice on the counter after removing it from the oven.

Bake the cookies for 3–4 more minutes until the edges are just starting to firm. Let chill. Decorate. Put the melted white chocolate in a ziplock bag and cut a tiny corner.

Draw the stomach, mouth, eyes, ears, and hands with the bag. Decorate the melting semi-sweet chocolate as desired. Have fun! The bears' chocolate should solidify at room temperature for 1 hour or 15 minutes in the fridge.

If you only want teddy bear faces, roll half the dough into 20 (1 tablespoon or larger) balls. Roll the remaining dough into 40 1/2-inch balls. Above photographs show the ears. Decorate as instructed.
