Strawberry Banana Bread Recipe

– 1/2cupunsalted buttersoftened – 1cupwhite sugar – 2large eggsbeaten – 3ripe bananasmashed - 1 cup mashed banana – 1/2cupsour cream – 1teaspoonvanilla extract – 2 1/4cupsall-purpose flour – 2teaspoonsbaking powder – 1/2teaspoonsalt – 1 1/2cupsfresh strawberriessliced and tossed in 1 tablespoon of flour – 1cuppowdered sugar – 2tablespoonsfresh lemon juice – Zest of 1 lemon

Warm the oven up to 375 degrees F.Spray nonstick spray on a loaf pan and cover it with parchment paper. Make handles on the side of the pan. Put away.

Mix the dry ingredients, which include flour, baking powder, and salt, in a basin of medium size. Put aside for later.

Butter and sugar should be creamed together in a large bowl until the mixture is frothy and light.

Beat in the eggs one at a time until everything is well mixed. Beat in the mashed bananas until everything is well mixed.Beat in the vanilla and sour cream until they are well mixed.

Add the dry ingredients slowly and mix just until the flour is mixed in. Be careful not to mix it in too much. Add the strawberries that are covered in flour slowly.

Add batter to loaf pan and bake at 375 degrees F for 15 minutes, then lower oven temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for 30 minutes or until bread is slightly golden-brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

After taking the bread out of the loaf pan and putting it on a wire rack, let it cool for 15 minutes. After cooling, add the icing.

Whisk powdered sugar, fresh lemon juice, and lemon zest in a medium bowl until smooth and lump-free. Keep the mixture drizzle-like yet thick enough to coat a spoon.

If you think it needs it, add more sugar or another teaspoon of lemon juice.After the bread has cooled, drizzle it with sauce and let it settle before cutting it up and serving it.

In order to preserve the item for a period of up to three to four days, it is imperative that it be covered and stored at room temperature.
