On top of saltine crackers, homemade toffee, melted chocolate, and chopped nuts make a delectable dessert. We adore gifting toffee in lovely tins over the holidays.
Ingredient
– 4 ounces saltine cracker– 1 cup butter– 1 cup dark brown sugar– 2 cups semisweet chocolate chip– ¾ cup chopped pecan
Direction
1
Once you have gathered all of the ingredients, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
2
Saltine crackers should be arranged in a single layer on a baking sheet with a crust.
3
Butter and sugar should be mixed together in a pot. Get it to a boil, and let it boil for three minutes.
4
Right away, pour the mixture over the crackers and spread it out so that it thoroughly covers them. Bake for five to six minutes in an oven that has been preheated.
5
After removing from the oven, sprinkle chocolate chips over the top of the cookies. Take a five-minute break.
6
Spread chocolate that has been softened evenly. Coat with pecans and sprinkle. Give it around twenty-five minutes to totally cool down.
