My favourite cupcake flavour has always been red velvet. The deep tanginess and cream cheese frosting make it unusual!
Ingredient
– 2 ½ cups All-purpose Flour– 2 cups Sugar– 1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder– 1 teaspoon Salt– 1 teaspoon Baking Soda– 2 Egg– 1 ½ cups Vegetable Oil– 1 cup Buttermilk– 1 tablespoon White Wine Vinegar– 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract– 1 teaspoon Gel Red Food Colouring– 1 batch Cream Cheese Frosting

Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners and preheat oven to 325°F.
Blend eggs, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla with a light whisk.

Add sugar, flour, cocoa powder, and salt and mix for a minute. 2 ½ cups All-purpose Flour,2 cups Sugar,1 tablespoon Cocoa Powder,1 tsp Salt

Mix in red food colouring until the batter is red enough.
Pour white wine vinegar over baking soda in a small bowl, mix quickly, and pour into the batter. Mix the batter.

Bake cupcakes for 20-22 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.

Cool completely before decorating with Cream Cheese Frosting.
