No Churn Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream Recipe

Easy no-churn ice cream with orange creamsicle flavors. To add orange flavor, vanilla no-churn ice cream is layered with sweet, slightly tart orange curd and fresh zest.

– 1 recipe orange curd – 480 g or 2 cups heavy whipping cream – 396 g or 1 can sweetened condensed milk – 2 teaspoons vanilla paste or vanilla extract – Pinch fine sea salt – Zest of 1 large orange

The orange curd must be made a day or at least 4 hours before making the ice cream to chill and thicken.

STEP  1 .

Get it ready before starting. Combine whipping cream, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla salt, and orange zest in a food processor or stand mixer.

STEP 2.

Process on high for 3-5 minutes to thicken cream. See the video for the runny but thick consistency.

STEP 3.

Add ¾ cup of whipped cream mix to an ice cream container and top with 1/4 cup of orange curd.

STEP 4.

Repeat with ¾ cup whipped cream and ¼ cup curd, gently swirling the mixture.

STEP 5.

Repeat until the curd and whipped cream are gone. Chill for 8 hours in the freezer.

STEP 6.

The ice cream will be hard when you take it out of the freezer, but after 5 minutes at room temperature, you can scoop it.
