– Butter– White Sugar– Light Brown Sugar– Maple Syrup– Egg– Vanilla Extract – Flour– Milk– Cream Cheese– Powdered Sugar– Pecan

Warm the oven up to 180°C/350°F and put parchment paper on a baking sheet.

To make the pecans the way you want them, cut them into pieces of different sizes. Keep a few whole pecan halves aside to use as decorations on top of the cake.

Fry the butter and light brown sugar together in a medium bowl. Add the pecans and mix them in. Mix the pecans around until they are well covered.

Spread the pecans out on the baking sheet that has been prepared.

Toast them in the oven for seven minutes; they should smell wonderful and nutty.

Set aside after baking while making the cake batter. Avoid accidentally putting whole pecans in the cake by separating them for decorating. Keep the oven on because the cake is coming.
