An instant delight for sweet, comforting, and halthful cravings! This healthy Oatmeal Banana Mug Cake is great for breakfast, snack or dessert. Adjust ingredients to your diet!
– 1 large egg– 4 Tbsp milk of choice or egg whites*– 1 large very ripe banana– ½ cup rolled oats– ½ tsp ground cinnamon– ¼ tsp sea salt– 1 Tbsp chocolate chips optional

Mix everything except chocolate chips in a small blender. I use my Magic Bullet, but a NutriBullet or any tiny carafe blender works.

If preparing mug cakes for two, double the recipe and use a regular blender.

Blend until the oats are well blended. Mix chocolate chunks into batter.Put batter in a microwave-safe cup.

To avoid spills, use a big cup.Sprinkle chocolate chips on the batter if desired. Put a spoonful of butter in the batter now.

Cook the cake in the microwave for 3 minutes.Eat the mug cake plain or with honey or maple syrup and butter.
