Ingredient
For the hot honey:– 2 Fresno chiles thinly sliced– 1 Thai chile thinly sliced– 1 cup pure honeyFor the tenders:– Peanut oil for frying– 1 pound chicken tenderloins– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour– 1 & 1/2 teaspoons salt– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper– 2 large eggs– splash of water– 1 & 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
Introduction
Heat Fresno, Thai, and honey in a small pot. Stir occasionally as the pot simmers on medium. Lower the heat and cook for 1 hour until fragrant and spicy.
Step 1
Watch the pot for overflow. Remove the pot from heat for a few seconds if it bubbles too much. Put hot honey through a fine mesh strainer into a medium bowl.
Step 2
Throw away chiles. Allow 30–60 minutes to thicken. Make chicken tenders while honey heats. Preheat your deep fryer to 350°F.
Step 3
Dutch oven oil heated 3 inches up on side. Mix tenders, flour, salt, garlic, onion, and pepper in a ziplock bag. Chicken needs coating. Mix eggs and water in a large shallow bowl.
Step 4
Add breadcrumbs to another shallow bowl. Each tender, shake off excess flour. Cover in egg. Gently press breadcrumbs into mixture to stick.
Step 5
Bread and bake tenders on parchment on a sheet tray. Fry tenders individually. Fried 4-5 minutes to 165°F.
Step 6
The tenders should be placed on a piece of paper towel so that the grease can be absorbed. The chicken will remain crispy

if you place a wire rack on top of a sheet tray to catch any drips that may occur. Put any extra tenders to good use. Now, serve with honey that is hot.
