Set the oven's temperature to 400°F, or 200°C. Use paper liners or grease a 12-cup muffin pan.

In a small bowl, mix milk, oil, and egg. Mix flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Well-form. After barely mixing milk, add chocolate chunks.

Fill prepared muffin cups 2/3 full with batter. Sprinkle muffins with 3 tablespoons white and brown sugar mixed in a small basin.
