Best Easy Eggnog French Toast Recipe

Black Section Separator

Eggnog French Toast: Warm, spicy eggnog meets golden brown French toast. It's a perfect combination, in my opinion.

Ingredient

– 3/4 cup eggnog – 3 large eggs well beaten – 1 & 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg – pinch salt – 4 tablespoons unsalted butter for cooking – 8 slices thick-cut French bread – powdered sugar for serving – maple syrup for serving

Introduction

Eggnog, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sea salt should be mixed together in a basin of medium size using a whisk until their ingredients are thoroughly integrated.

Step 1

A big skillet that does not stick should be placed over medium heat. As soon as the pan is heated, put one tablespoon of butter into it first.

Step 2

Once you have soaked both sides of a piece of bread with the eggnog mixture, remove it from the liquid and allow any excess to drop off.

Step 3

Put the piece of bread that has been soaked into the pan that is hot. Keep in mind that you will need to cook in batches, so avoid crowding the pan.

Step 4

Cook for three to four minutes on each side, or until both sides are golden brown. During the time that you are cooking the remaining pieces, place on a sheet tray.

Step 5

In order to maintain the temperature of the sheet tray, you can put it into a warm oven.

Step 6

An additional tablespoon of butter should be added before the subsequent slices of bread are added. Depending on your preference, serve with a light coating of powdered sugar and maple syrup.

Step 7
