Apple, Pear, and Almond Baked Oatmeal Recipe

INGREDIENT

– 1/2 cup (8 Tablespoons) unsalted butter, melted – 3/4 cup brown sugar – 2 egg – 1 teaspoon vanilla – 2 1/2 cups quick cooking oat – 3/4 cup almond meal – 2 teaspoons baking powder – 1 teaspoon salt – 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon cardamom – 1 cup milk – 1 apple, thinly sliced – 1 pear, thinly sliced – 1/4 cup sliced almond – 1 Tablespoons brown sugar

INSTRUCTION

Pre-heat the oven to 350. Butter an 8 × 8 pan or 9-inch deep dish pie dish. Mix butter and brown sugar with an electric mixer.

Step 1

 After adding eggs and vanilla, beat well. Add oats, almond meal, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and cardamom and beat until incorporated, scraping sides as needed. Mix in milk.

Step 2

 Put the mixture in the pan. Overlap apple and pear slices on top. Season with almonds and brown sugar.

Step 3

Bake 20–30 minutes until fruit is soft and oatmeal sets. Serve with maple syrup, yogurt, milk, or cream.
