Air Fryer Sweet Potato Wedges Recipe

These delicate, crispy air fryer sweet potato wedges are a healthful side dish. Quick, easy, and delicious, they only require 5 ingredients and 20 minutes to make.  

– 2 to 3 large and thick sweet potatoe – 1 to 2 tbsp of avocado or olive oil – 1 tsp of salt – 1 tsp of garlic powder – ½ tsp of paprika – ½ tsp chili powder or ground cumin – ½ tsp of freshly ground black pepper

Ingredients

Start the air fryer at 380°F, or 190°C. Let the sweet potatoes air dry and properly wash. Next, slice them into thick wedges that are about ½ inch thick.

Depending on the size of the sweet potato, I suggest dividing it lengthwise and then cutting each half into thirds or quarters.

Combine the wedges in a bowl with one or two teaspoons of olive oil and all the seasonings. Throw the wedges to cover them evenly.

After the air fryer has heated up, distribute the wedges evenly inside the basket. If your air fryer is tiny, cook the wedges in two batches to avoid congestion.

Sweet potato wedges should be air-fried for 15 to 18 minutes, rotating them with tongs halfway through to guarantee uniform crispiness.

Sweet potato wedges, both raw and air-fried, placed side by side You may either keep the sweet potato wedges for meal prep or serve them right away as a tasty side dish.
