These delicate, crispy air fryer sweet potato wedges are a healthful side dish. Quick, easy, and delicious, they only require 5 ingredients and 20 minutes to make.
– 2 to 3 large and thick sweet potatoe– 1 to 2 tbsp of avocado or olive oil– 1 tsp of salt– 1 tsp of garlic powder– ½ tsp of paprika– ½ tsp chili powder or ground cumin– ½ tsp of freshly ground black pepper
Ingredients
Start the air fryer at 380°F, or 190°C. Let the sweet potatoes air dry and properly wash. Next, slice them into thick wedges that are about ½ inch thick.
1
Depending on the size of the sweet potato, I suggest dividing it lengthwise and then cutting each half into thirds or quarters.
2
Combine the wedges in a bowl with one or two teaspoons of olive oil and all the seasonings. Throw the wedges to cover them evenly.
3
After the air fryer has heated up, distribute the wedges evenly inside the basket. If your air fryer is tiny, cook the wedges in two batches to avoid congestion.
4
Sweet potato wedges should be air-fried for 15 to 18 minutes, rotating them with tongs halfway through to guarantee uniform crispiness.
5
Sweet potato wedges, both raw and air-fried, placed side by side You may either keep the sweet potato wedges for meal prep or serve them right away as a tasty side dish.
