These crispy air fryer salmon pieces make a great appetiser or quick meal. For a complete dinner, serve with steamed rice, pickled vegetables, avocado, and spicy mayo sauce!
– 1 Tbsp avocado oil– 1 lb salmon– 3 Tbsp coconut aminos or low-sodium soy sauce– 1 Tbsp rice vinegar– 5 large cloves garlic– 2 tsp toasted sesame oil– 1 Tbsp lime juice– Sea salt to tasteSriracha Mayo (Optional):– ¼ cup mayonnaise– 1 Tbsp sriracha– 1 tsp pure maple syrup

Mix the chipotle mayo sauce ingredients in a small bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate while you prepare the salmon.

Pat the salmon dry with paper towels after removing it from packaging. Cut salmon on a board. Cut the salmon fillet into small pieces.

Remove the skin with a sharp knife or leave it. I enjoy salmon bites with skin because they're crunchy. Skin contains most omega-3s.

In a separate bowl, mix coconut aminos, rice vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, and lime juice for the marinade. Put the marinade and diced salmon in a big zip lock bag.

Seal the bag and swish until all salmon chunks are marinated. Marinate salmon in the fridge for 15 minutes or 24 hours.

Preheat the air fryer for 4 minutes at 400°F. Prepare air fryer basket with frying spray.

Apply the marinated salmon cubes to the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to do this in two batches depending on its size).
